MRIU has introduced four new courses-cum-specialization programmes for the engineering students at FET, in association with its Knowledge partner IBM that includes:

• B-Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in cloud computing.
• B-Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Business Analytics and Optimization.
• B-Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in IT infrastructure and Management.
• B-Tech Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Telecom Informatics.

In the above listed courses, IBM has also introducing an exclusive e-learning mechanism  through the Learning ad Management System (LMS), where students can have access to all the study materials and training sessions record accessible online.

In this e-learning process, students enrolled in the above programmes will have access to an online eco-system. Here, platform namely Innovation Centre for Open Standards will enable the students to access course material, discussion forums, student projects, industry mentors and news-clips.

Train the teacher program, student projects, expert Lectures are few other interactive sessions that will allow the students as well as the teachers to upgrade themselves, on a timely basis with the latest developments in the IT sector.

This unique collaboration of a renowned IT company, IBM and the MRIU is intended to provide a platform to the students of the University, who can now experience the real-life work environment of IBM, along with visits to its software development and testing centres.
